The joint conference of Grischenko & Partners and Norton Rose on ADR
On 20 May the Legal and Patent Firm "Grischenko & Partners" within the framework of development of international relations of the firm in cooperation with an international law firm Norton Rose LLP have organised a conference "New tendencies in the sphere of dispute resolution" in the conference facilities of Radisson SAS hotel.
The topic of the means of alternative dispute resolution, somehow new to Ukraine, was highlighted by Joseph Tirado, partner and head of international arbitration practice of Norton Rose, while his Ukrainian colleague, partner and head of arbitration practice of Grischenko & Partners Sergei Voitovich discussed the new developments in dispute settlement through international arbitration. Later the court lawyers of our firm, partner Igor Kovbasinsky and head of litigations department Pavlo Kostynchuk have made a survey of the newest aspects of development of Ukrainian court practice. The conference was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and State Tax Administration of Ukraine, well-known international companies, such as Mary Kay, JTI, Imperial Tobacco Ukraine, Nokia and Ukrainian enterprises, such as Ukreximbank, Ukrfinance etc.
